Top Priority of the Riverhead Democratic Committee in 2026
2026 is a defining year for Riverhead. Our top priority is protecting the progress voters demanded and strengthening accountable leadership at every level of government.
Re-electing Supervisor Jerry Halpin is essential to maintaining balance, transparency, and responsible fiscal management at Town Hall. His leadership has brought thoughtful planning and renewed accountability and that progress must continue.
We must also re-elect County Legislator Greg Doroski. whose voice represents Riverhead’s interests at the county level and ensures our community is not overlooked.
Beyond local offices, Riverhead voters will help decide representation in Congress, the Governor’s office, the State Senate, and the State Assembly choices that shape taxes, infrastructure, environmental policy, healthcare, and economic opportunity on Long Island.
2026 is about momentum. It is about participation. It is about protecting democracy locally and nationally.
